'Canary Girls' The Forgotten Heroines of Two World Wars

As of August 3rd 2024, the Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland, Federation Director, Lindsay Green and the Board of SIGBI would like to confirm its definite support for the Canary Girls Memorial Project and are in full agreement that there should be a memorial honouring these women in the National Memorial Arboretum!

Wednesday 1st - North Weald WI, North Weald Village Hall, Essex - at 2pm

Tuesday 7th - Caple Ladies group, St Mary's Church Hall, Capel St Mary, Suffolk - 7pm

Thursday 9th - Capel St Mary WI, Community Center Library, Capel St Mary, Suffolk (Nr, Ipswich) - at 7.30pm

Wednesday 15th - Icketon & Hinxton WI, Great Chesterfield, The Chapel,  Essex - at 7.30pm

Thursday 20th - Easingwold WI, Galtres Centre, Easingwold, North Yorkshire - at 7.30pm

Sunday 9th November and Tuesday 11th November
